Otwarty kurs


Leigh Blackall za tydzień zacznie prowadzić kurs “Facilitating online communities“, który jest częścią programu “Graduate Certificate in Applied eLearning” prowadzonego przez MIT (nie ten MIT, ale Manukau Institute of Technology w Nowej Zelandii)

Ten kurs jest dobrym przykładem tego, co jest czasem nazywane “e-learningiem 2.0″ – nie tylko korzysta z typowych dla tego trendu narzędzi, takich jak wiki, ale również jest prowadzony publicznie i każdy (tak, każdy) może się do tego kursu przyłączyć, lub po prostu podejrzeć, co się w nim dzieje. To tak, jakby Leigh prowadził swój kurs nie w sali wykładowej, ale na Rynku Głównym w Krakowie (analogia z dedykacją dla JM ;-) )

Hello Przemyslaw. It took me a little while to work out this was Polish. (I’m so ashamed of my ignorance of languages :( Thanks for the comment.. I hadn’t thought of the link to the bazaar analogy.. I like it. I’ve been tagging other courses that have been using this model (http://del.icio.us/leighblackall/wileywikis) – needless to say, I’m not the first, but am certainly an early adopter :)

No need to be ashamed. You can’t possibly know (or even recognize) all languages in the world, can you? :-)

Thanks for the link to your del.icio.us list of courses using the same model. What I like about this model is its openness, both in terms of offering your knowledge to anyone who’s interested, and in terms of opening up your course for a lot of “fresh blood” of ideas and experiences coming in to the shared space with every person that enrols informally.
